The Motels, the iconic LA band who first defined MTV with top ten hits “Only the Lonely” and “Suddenly Last Summer,” have made the top 100 charts in multiple countries including the United States, Australia and France. The Smithereens made their debut in March 1980 and made their mark on the Billboard rock charts, with “Only a Memory,” “House We Used to Live In” and “Drown in My Own Tears.” The band released their latest album in January 2011 entitled The Smithereens 2011, featuring hits “Sorry” and “One Look at You.” Bred on the mean streets of Detroit’s east side, The Romantics were inspired by the British punk invasion and their hometown rock scene. Nearly 30 years later they are still known for having created some of the most influential and beloved rock and roll of all time with songs like “Talking in Your Sleep,” “What I Like About You,” and “One in a Million.” It’s time to get rockin’ with Rock of the 80’s at Spotlight 29 Casino.
