Joey Ramone’s second solo album, “…ya know?” will be released on May 22, 2012, eleven years after his untimely death from lymphoma. The album features 15 tracks, selected from demos and previously unreleased recordings.
The Star-Ledger has created a virtual New Jersey Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame paying tribute to the greatest musicians of the Garden State. Among the 12 inductees are Southside Johnny, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, The Shirelles, Bon Jovi, Four Seasons, Whitney Houston, P-Funk, Kool & the Gang, The Fugees, Dionne Warwick, and, you guessed it, The Smithereens!

We’ve found a limited number of T-shirts commemorating The Smithereens 2008 concerts at The Court Tavern in New Jersey. These shows not only resulted in the acclaimed “Live In Concert” album, but turned out to be The Smithereens’ final appearances at the now closed Court Tavern. A one of a kind memento of a historic series of shows.
