The Smithereens are back on the road, playing The State Theatre in Falls Church, VA on Sat. January 14. In an interview in The Fairfax Times, Pat DiNizio revealed the band’s set will include new songs, old hits, and some surprises!
The Smithereens kick of the new year with four East Coast dates in January, and, for the first time, they are adding keyboards to the band. Andy Burton, who has played with the likes of Ian Hunter, Robert Plant and Southside Johnny, joins the ‘Reens for four shows in Annapolis, Falls Church, Philadelphia and New York City.
The Smithereens are kicking off the new year with something special for their fans. From January 13-21, The Smithereens Winter Tour 2012 will feature special guest Andy Burton on keyboards! Andy has played with Ian Hunter, Robert Plant and Southside Johnny (to name a few).
