The Smithereens Talk Beatles, Blood And Roses, Wall Of Sleep by Jim Clash FORBES August 10, 2015
“It was 35 years ago that The Smithereens formed in New Jersey. Classified as power pop, the band earned a reputation as hard-working and honest, putting out a series of catchy singles including Girl Like You, Blood And Roses, Behind The Wall Of Sleep, Yesterday Girl, Top Of The Pops, Only A Memory, as well as Beatles and Who tributes. A while back, I caught up with lead singer Pat Dinizio for some straight talk about music.”
